- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed

3. Response to Takedown Notices
Upon receiving valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the claim
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the subscriber or account holder who posted or accessed the material
- Take additional steps as required under the DMCA
Because we distribute copyrighted works under license from composers, removal of material may require verification of licensing status. We will act promptly while ensuring accuracy.

If you believe that material removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice was taken down in error or is permitted under applicable law, you may submit a counter-notification.
Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in the State of Minnesota and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action within 10–14 business days.

We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or restrict access for any subscriber or user who is determined to be a repeat infringer under the DMCA or who repeatedly violates our licensing agreements or Terms of Service.
6. Misrepresentations
The DMCA imposes liability for knowingly submitting false claims. Any party who knowingly misrepresents infringement or misidentification may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
7. Licensed and Restricted Content
Most works available on treasuryofsacredmusic.org are:
